These terms apply to the SophonTex website, native apps and related family learning services. By using the services, you agree to these terms. For minors, a parent or other guardian should provide or manage access with informed consent.

Guardian authorization

Guardians create and manage household accounts. Student use of learning spaces and device sessions should have guardian knowledge and authorization.

Safe learning

Services support learning activities such as reading, review, expression and creation, not harm, deception, harassment or unlawful purposes.

AI assistance

AI feedback may be incomplete or incorrect. Assess it alongside learning materials and teacher or guardian guidance.

Respect for rights

Before uploading or submitting content, ensure you have the right to use it and respect others' privacy, copyright and other lawful rights and interests.

Accounts, households and student devices

Guardians should provide truthful, necessary account and household information, safeguard sign-in credentials and take responsibility for authorized actions under their accounts. Student profiles and learning records belong to a specific household and student and are not public identities. Guardian approval is required for student device access; guardians can replace or revoke device sessions.

If an account, device or session is used without authorization, promptly revoke the relevant access and contact us. Do not share passwords, student device sign-in credentials or other security credentials.

Learning services and AI assistance

SophonTex provides learning plans, reading, review, expression, creation, feedback and family learning management. AI-generated content supports learning but may contain omissions, bias or errors. It does not replace teachers, guardians, medical, legal or other professional advice. For important decisions, check reliable sources and seek appropriate adult or professional help.

We may update, limit or suspend features to improve safety, stability and learning experiences. When security, compliance or content risks arise, we may disable high-risk features or return to a more conservative experience.

Acceptable use

Use the services in age-appropriate, safe, honest and respectful ways.

Do not submit unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, harassing, discriminatory or rights-infringing content.
Do not attempt to bypass accounts, student device authorization, access controls, rate limits or other security measures.
Do not use SophonTex to disrupt services, probe nonpublic data, distribute malicious code or impersonate others.
Do not upload, copy or publicly distribute protected books, images, audio, video or other materials without lawful authorization.

User content and intellectual property

You retain the rights to content you lawfully own. To provide requested features such as saving, processing, syncing, review and display, you permit us to process that content only as necessary to provide the services. This authorization does not automatically make private learning materials public or change our privacy and student data boundaries.

SophonTex brands, interfaces, software and proprietary content are protected by applicable law. Unless permitted by law or expressly authorized by us, you must not copy, sell, reverse-engineer or otherwise infringe the relevant rights.

Suspension, termination and changes

We may restrict or terminate access as necessary for use that endangers students, infringes others' rights, attacks the services or seriously breaches these terms. Guardians can also deactivate student device sessions, stop using the services or request account and data handling under the privacy notice.

We may update these terms and mark the new effective date here, giving appropriate notice of significant changes. To the extent allowed by applicable law, services are provided as available. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer or minor rights granted by law.
